UNFOLD REEL TEMPLATES
As reels gained popularity across social media platforms, Unfold responded by leading the creation of elegant and thoughtfully designed reel templates, complementing their existing collection of post templates.
This initiative involved a thorough analysis of market offerings, emerging trends, and the integration of music within the app. I had the privilege of art directing and designing many of the first reel templates, in addition to animating them.

I was responsible for designing a range of templates to meet the diverse needs of users. Collaborating closely with the development team, I learned how to set up my files during the animation process, ensuring they were properly prepared for the development stage.
A key constraint was the restriction of blend modes, requiring me to find creative solutions to achieve desired effects. Additionally, all files had to be organized with a clear naming system for layers, allowing for easy media replacement and seamless integration with the developers' coding process.
Leading this major initiative within and being involved in the process from initial storyboard frames to a fully functional in-app template was an invaluable learning experience. Collaborating with an incredible team of developers, I gained a deeper understanding of designing within development constraints while still delivering a beautiful, user-friendly product.
